As I love to create with my hands I love to carve. I just let myself be inspired by what wants to be expressed and this time it was the angels. So these represent the angels coming to earth consciously. They connect with matter, which is portrayed through the stone for they are well grounded. A friend told me that it could be a symbol as the Y represents Yes for her, so I call them the Yes- Angels. Any theme can be expressed through that kind of work and it talks with you any time when you look at it for we know we are communicating in so many ways with our own Self.

Creation – New Energy Knitting for Babies

I had no idea what being a New Energy Teacher would mean for me personally, when I chose to be one. I've been a school teacher for 24 years and when I lost my old job in 2008, I had no idea what's next. I took some time for walking in nature, listening to the music (Tobias & Yoham mostly), breathing, and for my pleasure only I began to knit again (I have knitted and crocheted since I was eight). I felt a gentle nudge to knit with organic cotton yarn for the little ones, like as if they tried to communicate with me.

If I had tried to figure out in my mind what I would do as a New Energy Teacher I would have never ever thought of knitting. And now, this is my passion, my joy and my business!

I just know that newborns feel the difference, like we, Shaumbra, do.

Creation – Transformative Career Counseling and Coaching

“Shift Happens!”
There has never been a better time for those of us who long for our perfect careers, to go for it! Transformative Career Counseling and Coaching was launched in January to help clients envision and create new (energy) careers for themselves. On the career-counseling side I provide tools and information to those considering a first career, or a new career. On the coaching side, I provide assistance for those wanting planning and implementation help in launching projects like new businesses, and helping those faced with potentially scary career-life-changes to meet those changes with inner “connection” and confidence.

The assumption is that clients already have “the answers;” and it is the job of the career counselor or coach to provide tools to reveal those answers. For the client, the “revelation process” involves exploring personal and sometimes-unacknowledged past-time passions, using psychometric tools such as Myers Briggs and Enneagrams, confidence building, and having a trusted companion who is their cheerleader and advocate. My practice also focuses on essential inner work, utilizing all manner of “spiritual tools,” like quiet and still time, visualization, reading inspirational material, playing “self-revealing” games, and identifying belief-systems. The objective is for clients to connect with what they REALLY want to do with their lives!

Though I am based in Portugal, I work with clients internationally using Skype, currently from California to Ukraine. I take a practical and spiritual approach. I have over 25 years experience in corporate recruitment and training, as well as in personal directional-counseling and coaching. I also post a weekly blog on my site, with specific career-change tools and games designed to help those looking for their “bliss.”

Shaumbra Creations Submissions Guidelines

Shaumbra creations submitted for launch in Shaumbra News must be new, i.e. created within the last few months.

The product or service must be YOUR creation. Please don’t submit books written by other people, music CDs created by someone else, or classes created by someone else (even if you are a facilitator). If your creation is a workshop or class, it must be a new series that you will offer on an ongoing basis.

The product or service must be available for Shaumbra to order today. In other words, the book must be printed, the music CDs ready to ship, classes must be open for immediate registration, etc.

To launch your creation please send the following information to [email protected]:

1. Contact information including your website and email address.
2. Description of your creation in 250 words or less (English only please). Shaumbra News reserves the right to edit your submission.
3. A digital photo of yourself
4. A digital image of your product. Images should be medium resolution, approximately 1000 x 1000 pixels. The files can be in JPEG, TIFF or GIF formats.

We will include as many new creations as possible each month but cannot guarantee that all submissions will be published.

Please note:

• Submissions should be received by the first of each month in order to make it into that month’s newsletter.
• Each creation may be submitted ONE TIME ONLY. You can submit new (and truly different) creations at a later date but each creation will be listed only once in Shaumbra News.
• Crimson Circle reserves the right to decline any submission.
