ALBERTO: I’m nervous about the interview, but I know we have to start with the good deep breath!
SHAUMBRA MAGAZINE: Wow, yes, that’s what it’s all about! So, where do you live?
ALBERTO: I live in Xalapa, in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. Xalapa has a strange weather climate; sometimes in the morning it’s hot, then cold, then hot again. It’s strange, but amazing. The land is kind of swampy, and sometimes we have a lot of mist and fog. It’s amazing to walk through the center of the city and not see anything more than 2 meters away! It’s beautiful.
I live with my mom and my little dog Chiquis, a chihuahua. I am an only child and have a close relationship with my maternal grandparents. We get together 2-3 times a month to play and have fun.
SM: What are your responsibilities with Crimson Circle?
ALBERTO: Initially I started working with Iván Parra on the front end of the Crimson Circle store, which is the part that customers see. Right now, I am working on the servers for the main Crimson Circle website, trying to detect any improvements that are needed. I attended the recent Threshold workshop, because I was on hand for technical support and keeping an eye on the servers. I followed it all the way through.
SM: We have to ask, what did you think of the Threshold workshop?
ALBERTO: It was amazing! I liked it so much. The most important thing I learned was about forgiveness and how to get rid of guilt. There are some things I don’t understand yet, but it was amazing.
SM: What kind of skills and experience do you have?
ALBERTO: I have a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, and work as a full stack engineer. This means I know all the parts of the system and can work on everything, whether it is the front end, the back end, the database, the servers, or anything else. I can work on all of it. I’d also like to acknowledge that, ever since I came to Crimson Circle, because of the support of all the team I have really grown and am a lot better at all this than when I arrived a few months ago.
SM: The Crimson Circle is a rather unusual company. What is it like for you to be part of the team?
ALBERTO: It’s amazing for me to be here. In addition to my growth in technical and professional skills, I am also discovering so many things I didn’t know. I like learning about the energies, and it feels very good to be here!
SM: Do you have any hobbies or passions that you’re interested in outside your job?
ALBERTO: Yes! I love programming, but also, I love dance. I dance salsa and tango and I love that! I’m also starting to learn how to play the guitar, though I need more practice. But my main hobby is dance.
SM: Is there anything else you’d like Shaumbra to know about you?
ALBERTO: I am eager and willing to respond to anything that’s needed. I think I’m a cool guy with energies, and I can be recognized by my laughter. I love to help people!
