Dear Master, why can’t I shake the nagging feeling that I need to be helping others or always be there for my family or do something important to feel worthy? And even when I do it, it still doesn’t feel right?

Because it occupies your mind. It makes you feel good about yourself. You think you’re doing the right thing helping others. You stepped out of that role when you stopped being an energy holder for the planet, when you started truly awakening. And now it’s about you. You are the cause for yourself (…)

There shouldn’t be anything in your life that’s more important than your freedom and your enlightenment. Not your job, not your family, not your children, not your health, not your status, not any awards on your chest.

Wouldn’t it make me kind of a psychopath if I stopped caring and feeling empathy for others because I stopped “suffering”?

I’m not saying not to do it, but don’t put it before you. It’s not to say don’t take care of (them). But take care of them as a Master.

There’s no compromising. It doesn’t matter how many bad words or buckets of water or pounds that you gain or years that you put on your age or bad relationships or lack of money. None of it matters other than the freedom… but suffering cannot coexist with freedom within a person, within a community, within a planet. It simply can’t.

Freedom with energy, freedom with one’s Self, the sovereignty. I say this because it’s going to be one of the most difficult things that you’re going to encounter that it’s very difficult for these two things to coexist – suffering and freedom.

Well, it’s not like I’m suffering. That sounds a bit too harsh. I just feel out of sorts and maybe a little unworthy…

Suffering – and I use that term broadly – it means a lot of things: fear, guilt, shame, of course. It means a lot of different things. Call it what you want – pain, suffering, guilt, remorse, lack of self-worth – it’s all the same thing. It’s all suffering.

And, by the way, you’re really good sufferers. All of you, good sufferers. You’ve done a really good job with it. Some of you have taken it to the extreme, but that was part of the game.

But didn’t I free myself from all of that with everything I’ve done in these past many years?

(There is) this whole dynamic: part of you (is) becoming totally free, and there’s still some of the old suffering energy and consciousness. And the two can’t coexist. So, what’s going to happen? You have that free part coming in, but you still have the suffering part. It knows it’s on its way out, but it’s resisting.

It still believes there has to be some degree of suffering.

Just feel what that dynamic is like, what it’s going to do in your body and even in your mind, and ultimately that they can’t coexist.

If I’m aware of this “suffering” and let go of it, why is it still lingering? Why doesn’t it just go away?

I generalize here, it’s not meant this way for everybody (…) but (suffering is putting up) its last hurrah, its last fight. It’s going to insist that you have to hold on to some of it, so it’s going to rise up within you, within some experiences in your life.

And the suffering is going to try to tell you – let’s just call it the ‘suffering aspect’ – it’s going to try to tell you that you have to have it, you’re not worthy to be without any suffering, and some of you are going to believe it.

Aspects are really good at tricking you, because, well, they are you. They know all your vulnerabilities, your weak spots and everything else.

So the suffering is going to try to hang on, and when it realizes that you’re going to call its game, you’re going to recognize that it’s just an aspect, then it’s going to try to plead with you, beg with you. It’s going to do the “Poor me. I’m just this little suffering aspect and, look, you’re trying to throw me out.”

It’s going to try to work on your sympathies and your emotions. It’s going to try to make you feel guilty, and it really knows how to make you feel guilty.

It sounds kind of weird – Why would you even want suffering? – but it’ll find a way to make you feel bad about it and yourself.

And then what happens to it when that doesn’t work? When you tell that aspect that you’re just not going to go along with it, then what happens to it?

Well – and I’m generalizing here – but along comes the Master.

The Master’s been watching all this, how that suffering aspect has been playing you like a fiddle. First threatening, then begging.

The Master has no love, no regard, no like whatsoever for suffering – and the Master is just going to plant himself or herself right in the center of your being, right where the suffering is trying to work and not say a word, not do a thing, but just be so present without wavering, without flinching.

So present in the Master’s light, in the Master’s wisdom that, well, it’ll be kind of like this huge explosion as that last bit of suffering is brought to wisdom.

It’s not going to go easy. It’s not going to be like a gentle fluffy little transformation. It’ll be a big bang explosion when suffering is brought to wisdom.

You’ll feel it. Actually, it’ll be a really good feeling. It might really jolt your body, it’ll definitely jolt every other part of you, but it will be such a relief when all that suffering is finally brought to wisdom.

And that’s it. That’s the end of it.

Thank you for the Article. Ii is really inspirational. The suffering Aspect is really tricky indeed, this is so familiar for me. I think I have gained a tool here and there to accept and release these suffering aspects in me. Important of all, to remember I am Consciousness!!. I am observing the suffering aspects are occurring in Consciousness. I am Alert. I am Free. I feel it, but I tell it, 'you no longer serve me'.

Finally I took time to read this article. My suffering aspects kinda hide it for me. It said "not another long text to read, to tired...". Well it hit me spot on! My reality is lightening. Thank you!

I can relate to what you write. Unworthiness has a great pull/gravity.The Aspects are very strong. I often kicked them out. Thank you so much for this article, it comes for the right time.

This is exactly what has been going on with me, that last bit of resistance before allowing total freedom. Every time I kicked the ass of that suffering aspect, it comes back through the back door and in all kind of disguises. But every time it looses strenght, Thank God! Time for the master to stand up now right in my center! And then finally and totaly free!
